   "Ozzie"    

Ozzie, 81, crossed over on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at Edinboro Manor. 
He was born in Salem, Ohio on September 20, 1923, the son of the late Oscar and Ora Dell Lakin. Mr. Lakin was national member of the V.F.W. Post #740. During World War II he served with the U.S. Marine Corp. as a radio repairman attaining the rank of sergeant. 

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-one years, Mary Louise Mowris Lakin; one daughter, Sandra Tolin ; two sons, Gerald and Darrell and one brother, Ira Lakin.

Ozzie's gate opened and he went home.
Ozzie will be missed by everyone that knew him.  This site was created to give family and friends a place to come and visit and remember.

4/27/06 On the anniversary of Ozzie's passing, we send love and understanding to his wife and children. Time passes but the feelings are as strong as the day they left.  I know that Bill and Ozzie are watching over us. Probably laughing and having a good time too.
