Gloria Mae Bowers Fuller, 77, of Erie, passed away on
Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Saint Vincent Health Center.
She was born July 9, 1933, in Youngsville, Pa., the daughter of the
late Richard Wayne and Mary Catherine (Pamula) Bowers.
She was formerly employed at Hills Department Store. Gloria
was an avid bowler and an avid lover of bingo. She was a member of
South Erie Turners and GCS Clubs. Gloria was a 1951 graduate of
Millcreek High School.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene
Bowers and Pauline Schroeck; one brother, Robert Bowers; and two
nephews, Larry Schroeck and Daniel Bowers.
Survivors include two daughters, Bunnie Boros and husband,
Michael of Erie and Cindy Graham and husband, Russell of Meadville.
Also survived by six grandchildren, Jonathan Boros, Nicholas Fedei,
Amber Covington, Ariel Graham, Tamara Graham, CJ Graham; one
great-grandson, Dylan Fedei; and many nieces and nephews.
God saw you were getting tired,
And a cure was not to be
So he put his arms around you
And whispered "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat
quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent a funeral spray, if so, we saw it there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, As any friend could say,
Perhaps you were not there at all, Just thought of us that
day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so very much, whatever the part.
Family of Gloria Fuller
Aunt Gloria always had a soft spot for me and she let
me know it. Playing with Bunny and Sam growing up was a highlight of
my afternoons. Being an only child, playing with cousins was better
than Ice Cream.
Its sad to hear that she has left this world, but I KNOW that she is
in a better place and with our family.
She will always have a place here.

Dear family of Gloria Bowers Fuller,
I have fond memories of Gloria from school.
We were in chorus together and she attended reunions of the Class of
