My Aunt Betty was such a fun character to me. Ill remember her most by her loving heart and her groovy bandanas. I remember at the time when my grandma Lillian passed away, Aunt Betty gave me a big hug and made me smile with her bandana :) She was truly a great person and while it is sad that we wont be able to see her anymore, it comforts me that she is now with Uncle Jack in Heaven. So Aunt Betty, I love you and miss you - Chelsey Chelsey Gilbert (Cranesville, PA ) |

8/24/09 Stopping by to wish Betty a Happy Birthday. Betty shares the same date as my dad's mom Celia Fuller. Celia passed away on March 23, 1990 the day before my son was born. I googled the date August 24th and found that Amelia Earhart in 1932 became the first woman to fly non-stop across the U.S., traveling from Los Angeles to Newark, New Jersey, in just over 19 hours. Betty was 4 years old, too young to know what awesome feat this woman accomplished. I am sure as Betty grew older she learned about other strong women and what they did to help all women especially me. Happy Birthday Betty |
