ANNA  CASE

January 3, 1927 - December 25, 2005

The Lord called her to his side on Christmas Day.  Her time to move on to a better place, one of no pain and sorrow. She was greeted by her family and friends that went before.  Finally at rest.

Christmas in Heaven"
I see the countless Christmas trees
around the world below
with tiny lights like heaven's stars
reflecting on the snow.
 The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away that tear
for I am spending Christmas
with the angels this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs
 that people hold so dear
but the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you of the joy their voices bring for it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart  But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, loved ones, you know I hold you dear. And be glad that I'm spending Christmas with the angels this year.
I send each a special gift from my heavenly home above. I send you each a memory of my undying love. After all "Love" is the gift more precious than pure gold. It was always most important in the stories our Lord told.
Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do. For I can't count the blessings of love he has for you. So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away the tear. Remember, I'm spending Christmas with the angels this year.

To our Sister-in-Law

To our Mom To our Aunt

God looked around the garden and found an empty space.
He then looked down upon the earth and saw her tired face
He put his arms around her and lifted her to rest
God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best
He knew she would never get well on this earth again
He saw the road was getting rough the hills were hard to climb
So he closed her weary eyelids and whispered
 "Peace be Thine"

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground,
but it's not just a penny
This little coin I've found.
Found pennies come from heaven
That's what my grandma told me,
She said Angels toss them down
Oh, how I loved that story.
She said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down,
Sometimes just to cheer you up
To make that smile out of your frown.
So don't pass by that penny
when you're feeling blue,
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.
Ann always carried a penny in her pocket for luck.

Olive and Anna Mae visited Ann's grave and took this photo.

One week since we said goodbye. The flowers are still fresh and so is the pain of missing her. Our lives must go on, but we know that our lives are blessed because of her and being part of her life.

As we gather for  the Holidays please remember Ann's family in your thoughts and prayers. Know that someday they will be together again. And believe that she is watching and wants them to celebrate as if she was here. Because she is, in our hearts forever.
